my little one was laihtcng on perfectly and all yet I experienced pain. The pain peaked at 2 weeks. After that, the pain was gone. I breastfed my 1st for 1 year and he self weaned. The breastfeeding journey with my 2nd was much different because of the pain medicine I was on from my 2nd c-section. As such, he didn't respond well to breastfeeding because the meds were getting to him and making him drowsy. After an unsuccessful 2 weeks, I begrudgingly gave up and knew that full time formula feeding was the best for both of us. That was the hardest decision ever but my boy is strong and healthy at 25 months. Having said all that I just wanted to share my personal experience with you. For some it is a walk in the park and for some it is harder. Don't get discouraged, if it's important to you, then stick to it unless it comes to a point where there is more stress then good.[]
