In this episode we speak with László Puczkó, an expert in health and wellness tourism. We focus on the definition of Wellness and how this concept is often misunderstood or exploited by companies in what he calls: “The McDonalization of Wellness.” He talks about wellness tourism in Mexico and Latin America and the great opportunities they have to continue developing the industry. Especially when understanding the deep needs of customers and using those as a starting point to create deep experiencees that enable profound transformation.

László Puczkó has worked in wellness tourism for more than 20 years. He is an engineer, economist, strategist and consultant for  public and private institutions.

He has been the president of the Wellness Tourism Association, as well as founder of The Tourism Observatory for Health, Wellness and Spa. He is an educator and co-author of numerous specialised books.
